What's Currently Available
We maintain a large, constantly rotating inventory of used and reconditioned IBC totes. Here is what we typically have in stock and ready to ship at any given time.
275-Gallon Standard IBCs
The industry workhorse. 275-gallon capacity on a standard 48" x 40" pallet footprint. Stackable up to 3 high when full, 4 high when empty. Available in all three grades. We typically carry 200+ units in stock at all times.
- Grades A, B, and C available
- 48" x 40" x 46" dimensions
- 2" butterfly valve standard
- HDPE bottle, steel cage, wood pallet
330-Gallon Extended IBCs
20% more capacity than the standard 275-gallon on the same footprint. Preferred by high-volume operations looking to minimize container count and shipping costs. Taller profile with extended bottle.
- 48" x 40" x 53" dimensions
- Same pallet footprint as 275-gal
- 2" valve standard, ball valve available
- Grade A and B typically in stock
Reconditioned IBCs
Professionally cleaned and rebuilt containers with new bottles, valves, and gaskets fitted to inspected cages and repaired pallets. These offer the longest service life of any used container and are backed by our reconditioning warranty.
- New HDPE bottle on refurbished cage
- New valve, gasket, and lid
- Leak tested and quality certified
- Food-grade options available
Food-Grade Certified IBCs
Containers with verified food-safe prior contents that have been triple-rinsed, sanitized with FDA-approved agents, and sealed with cleaning documentation. Only IBCs that previously held food-grade substances qualify.
- Verified food-safe prior contents only
- Triple rinse + FDA sanitization
- Sealed and labeled post-cleaning
- Certificate of cleaning included
Composite Pallet IBCs
IBCs mounted on composite (plastic) pallets instead of wood. These are more durable, weather-resistant, and do not splinter or harbor bacteria. Preferred for food processing and pharmaceutical applications.
- Plastic composite pallet base
- Longer pallet lifespan vs. wood
- No splinter or moisture absorption
- FDA and USDA compliant base

How Our Pricing Works
We believe in straightforward pricing with no hidden fees. Here is a complete breakdown of what determines the cost of your IBC totes and what is included in every purchase.
What Determines Price
Grade
Grade A commands the highest price due to superior condition. Grade C offers the deepest discount. Reconditioned units fall between Grade A and new pricing.
Size
330-gallon IBCs are priced 10-15% higher than 275-gallon due to the additional material and capacity. Specialty sizes are quoted individually.
Prior Contents
Food-grade IBCs with verified safe prior contents carry a premium because of higher demand and the cost of maintaining traceability documentation.
Valve Type
Standard 2" butterfly valves are included in the base price. Ball valves and cam-lock fittings add $10-25 per unit for the upgraded hardware.
Quantity
Volume discounts start at 10 units and scale up to 20%+ off for orders of 50 or more. Recurring purchase programs unlock the deepest available pricing.

Choosing the Right IBC Tote for Your Application
Not all IBC totes are created equal. The right container depends on what you plan to store, how long you need it, and whether you require food-grade certification. Our team helps you match the perfect IBC to your specific use case.
Key Selection Factors
- Prior contents: We track what each IBC previously held. For food-grade applications, we only supply containers that have held food-safe substances.
- Volume requirements: Standard 275-gallon and 330-gallon IBC totes available. We also stock specialty sizes upon request.
- Valve configuration: 2-inch butterfly valve (standard), 2-inch ball valve, or cam-lock fittings. We can replace valves to match your equipment.
- Single use vs. ongoing: If you need containers for a one-time project, Grade C offers the best economics. For recurring use, reconditioned IBCs provide the longest service life.

Industries We Serve
Our customers range from small farms needing a single water tote to large manufacturers ordering pallets of containers monthly. Common industries include:
Why Buy Used IBC Totes?
Save 40-60%
Used and reconditioned IBCs cost a fraction of new. For most applications, there is zero performance difference between a graded used tote and a brand-new one.
Reduce Your Carbon Footprint
Manufacturing a new IBC produces roughly 70 lbs of CO2. Buying used eliminates that entirely. Every reused container is a measurable environmental win.
Immediate Availability
New IBCs often have lead times of 4-8 weeks. Our inventory is in stock and ready to ship. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-5 business days.
Quality You Can Trust
Our grading system removes all guesswork. You know exactly what condition to expect, and every tote is inspected before it leaves our yard.
Keep Containers in Circulation
An IBC tote can be reused 5-10 times before end of life. Buying used extends its productive lifespan and delays its entry into the recycling stream.
Support Local Business
When you buy from Rochester IBC, you support a locally owned operation that reinvests in the Rochester community and the regional circular economy.
